5 Limited Edition Alpinestars Boots That Will Always Be Lit

Following the release of the Alpinestars Limited Edition Indy Vice Collection, The Fast Times takes a look back at five LE boots that are just that: lit.

Alpinestars Limited Edition Aviator Tech 10

Make no mistake, the debut of the Alpinestars Limited Edition Aviator Tech 10 was pretty special, for a couple of reasons. First, it was part of the “Aviator” collection, released to honour the United States Armed Forces – a tradition that teams, riders and brands continue at one round of Monster Energy AMA Supercross. The second? It was the Aviator Tech 10 being worn by the top three in the Main Event of the San Diego Supercross, where Jason Anderson, Marvin Musquin and Blake Baggett put in epic rides, making for an epic line-up on the podium. The Tech 10 is the apex of Alpinestars’ boot range, but some colourways make the boot that much more special, and one is the Aviator LE.

Alpinestars Limited Edition Gator Tech 7S

When it comes to limited edition kits, Alpinestars doesn’t forget riders of all skills and sizes. That explains the Limited Edition Gator Collection, which included the Tech 7S boot, all in the “Gator” colourway. Named in honour of Gatorback Cycle Park in Gainesville, Florida – the breeding ground for the next generation of moto legends – the Gator Tech 7S was released to be used by younger riders (and those smaller in stature). The limited edition boot brings all the features of a top-tier boot – such as Alpinestars’ unique torsion control system and unique, high-strength sole construction – to classes outside of the pro ranks. To make it even more special, the “Whip Cream White” Tech 7S is dipped in flo-orange, which also has hints of yellow flavour around the edges.

Alpinestars Limited Edition Angel Tech 10

Alpinestars Limited Edition Angel BootAre you ready to update your gearbag? If that’s a “yes”, it pays to start from the ground up, to get you ready to take flight. That’s made easier in the Alpinestars Limited Edition Angel Tech 10. The collection was just launched in honour of the season opener in Anaheim, California, where the world’s fastest supercross racers descended on Angel Stadium for the first round of Monster Energy AMA Supercross. It saw the iconic Tech 10 given the “Angel” treatment, a cool grey, black and flo-yellow colourway. Again, when Astars says it’s “Limited Edition” you know it’s limited edition, so don’t mess about.

Alpinestars Limited Edition Union Tech 10

With close to six decades of heritage, it’s safe to say that Alpinestars has introduced more than its fair share of timeless boots, gearsets and styles to the moto scene. But it’s not always the design and colourways that make an LE so cool. Sometimes, it’s that aforementioned heritage. One such release was the Union Collection, which made its debut at the icon of American moto that is Southwick – AKA “Moto-X 338” or “The ‘Wick”–  a place that also happens to be the track that made its debut on the AMA Pro Motocross circuit in 1976, the year and round that Alpinestars’ very own Pierre Karsmakers took the win. Is that a bit of you? If so, there is a small amount of stock remaining.

Alpinestars Limited Edition Indy Vice Tech 7

Without a doubt, the Tech 10 is the flagship boot of the Alpinestars range of dirt bike boots. But there is another boot that has just as much respect, and even more heritage, which is the Tech 7. The current Tech 7 is a completely new design, too, making for a lighter and more anatomically profiled dirt bike boot. Sure, the CE-certified Tech 7 is available in a huge range of colourways. But, trust us, this is the colourway you’ll be wanting to get your hands on and feet in. Plus, there are some limited editions that are, you know, more limited than others. That’s for one simple reason: everyone wants a part of it. The Alpinestars Limited Edition Indy Vice Collection is one of those.
