Sure, there are a few highlights on the moto calendar in Aotearoa – from MX Fest to Woodville – but it all comes down to one series: the NZ MX Nationals. It’s the series that crowns the national champions of each class, from MX1, through to the all-new Woman’s Cup. This year, the entire series will be live streamed around the world, meaning you won’t miss a thing – except a bit of sunburn.
That’s right, all four rounds will be live streamed, and one place to see it is right here on The Fast Times. So, if we don’t see you there (on the bunting or on the gate), we’ll see you here. Yeah, thanks to Motorcycling New Zealand officials and industry leaders, The Fast Times will be one of the places to watch the NZ MX Nationals – no matter where you are in the world. On each day of racing, the first being this Sunday, the live stream will be available on The Fast Times, as seen below.
2018 NZ MX Nationals – Round 1

Support the supporters
The live streaming is made possible by the hard work and support of the sponsors – Fox Racing, Workshop Graphics, ICG Print, Yamaha New Zealand, KTM, Husqvarna Motorcycles, Kawasaki New Zealand, Blue Wing Honda, Eni, Pirelli and Crombie Lockwood – and officials behind the series.
From Burt Munro rocketing across the salt of Bonneville, to Tim Gibbes scrambling behind the Iron Curtain, and Ben Townley standing on podiums in Europe and the United States, you could say that Aotearoa has a rich history when it comes to motorcycling on the dirt. That’s why the live stream is a huge step forward for New Zealand motocross, which can only help the sport grow, something that is needed for the future.
Learn it. Know it. Live it.
